Door repair and service is a specialty. Commercial entry and exit doors sometimes need to meet fire or ADA requirements. Sometimes crash bars, panic devices and or exit devices (all the same thing) don’t latch properly, swing too fast or too slow or leak oil. Maybe an arm is bent, or the door pivot wears out. Some doors have the closer enclosed in the hollow space above the door, and they can come loose or wear out too.

Moody’s Upstate Lock & Key does open safes and we can probably open yours. Of course not all safes are the same and there is a chance we might have to direct you so someone else. When we establish a good understanding of who the owner of the safe is and then know some particulars about your safe, we can give you an idea of what it costs to open it and make repairs.
Locksmiths can very often help you get a key for your toolboxes. We can make them, or we can help you get them, or sometimes we just help you open the toolbox so you can get to work, and we figure out the key after.

Many roadside assistance plans will cover key replacement, like AAA for example. How much they will cover depends on your level of coverage. Simply tell us what your insurance requirements are, and we can write up an invoice accordingly. You will have to pay us and then be reimbursed by your insurance company.

Unfortunately, Honda keys are a bit notorious for killing the door or ignition cylinder. We can fix this by rekeying the lock, and cutting you a factory new key. Call and we’ll check current pricing on that lock and give you a good estimate as to what it will cost for us to fix it for you.
